This informational seminar is free, and provides a unique opportunity for golf tournament directors, tournament committee members, non-profit executives and directors of corporate golf events to share best practices and learn new strategies to improve your tournament. The 3-hour seminar covers all aspects of planning a successful tournament, including topics such as: fundraising, committee management, tournament gifting, budgeting, volunteer management, golf course selection, signage and much more!

Brian Riggins is the founder & managing partner of Magnolia Golf Group. Immediately following college in 1993, Brian entered the golf business as a caddie for the Golf Club of Georgia. After learning the value of customer service on the links Brian joined American Golf Corporation, one the world’s leading golf course management companies with over 300 properties worldwide, as a Tournament Director. Brian managed tournaments for three golf properties in the metro Atlanta area. Brian then moved into the General Manager role in 1995 where he managed three golf properties with annual course budgets in excess of 2 million dollars. This is where Magnolia Golf Group was born.
With the 1999 launch of, the company started with a handful of clients in the first year. Over the past 16 years, that client list has grown to include over 200 annual golf tournaments and events. Magnolia specializes in working with non-profit organizations and corporate groups to accomplish two goals regarding their golf tournaments: maximize fundraising and increase the experience level for everyone involved at the golf tournament.  These goals are accomplished while maintaining the decorum required by organization and the great game of golf.
